A more business friendly revised Connecticut Limited Liability Company Act goes into effect on July 1, 2017. However, its provisions for the most part, are not automatic. In fact, your current Operating Agreement, if not modified, may even override the more friendly and flexible provisions in that Act. Have your Operating Agreement reviewed so that you can find out where you can benefit from this new act and where silence under your current agreement may have a different meaning starting in July.
